The BUNKERHILL Collection (BHC)
The BUNKERHILL Collection (BHC) is an independent, non-profit art collection with a museum-standard mission. Founded in 2022, its primary objective is to preserve significant movements in contemporary art and ensure their accessibility to the general public. The institution was brought to fruition under the patronage and substantial support of an international network of renowned art collectors. Curatorial Profile and International Standing
The core mandate of the BHC lies in the archiving, scholarly analysis, and presentation of works that decisively shape the global art discourse. The artists represented in the collection hold exceptional international prestige. Their work has been recognized at the world’s most prestigious venues, including the Venice Biennale, documenta, and the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA)in New York. Institutional Cooperation and Dialogue
A central pillar of the BHC’s museum work is the synergistic collaboration with leading museums and cultural institutions worldwide. Through active loan programs and joint research projects, the BHC fosters a transdisciplinary dialogue between artistic production, private commitment, and the public sphere. In this capacity, the collection makes a vital contribution to the documentation and cultivation of contemporary cultural heritage.
